We are not at the top of the food chain.
If you put a naked human with not weapons in an enclosed field with a variety of animals, the human would either be hunted by larger, more dangerous animals or would eat vegetation in the area. There is no way a human could even catch a large animal and just take raw bites of it. Seriously.
Our weapons are at the top of the food chain, not us.
